Mountain Plain Homes
The Bailey family has been active on the Colorado building scene for more than a quarter century. Starting in 1977 with Bailco, Inc., a full-service heating and air conditioning company, the firm and family quickly established itself as one of the state's leading contractors, relying heavily on its reputation for providing quality service, before, during, and after every sale.
In 1993, the Bailey family established Mountain Plain Homes, and in 1996, sold its interest in Bailco, Inc. to continue its focus exclusively on community development and the construction of exquisite custom, semi-custom, and upscale low maintenance homes. Since its inception, Mountain Plain Homes has built dozens of homes for discriminating Colorado clients in several of the Denver metro area's highest profile communities, from Dove Hill in Arapahoe County, to Castle Oaks and Ponderosa Summit in Douglas County, and at Meadowbrook, home of the Homebuilders Association of Metro Denver's 1996 Parade of Homes. The firm has also been retained by over a half dozen clients to build exclusive custom homes on privately held sites.
In 2000, Mountain Plain Homes purchased and developed a two-plus acre site in unincorporated Arapahoe County that would come to be known as Paula Dora Park. In just three short years, the company would build 11 paired homes and 22 single family residences in Phase I at Paula Dora Park. In January 2004, the company purchased an additional two acres adjacent to Phase I at Paula Dora Park, and constructed an additional 16 single family homes, selling out the entire community in just over a year.
After five successful years at Paula Dora Park, Mountain Plain Homes has returned to its roots in custom home building at Peakview, an exquisite enclave featuring beautiful custom homes on spacious quarter-acre sites located within Castlewood Ranch Estates. The master-planned neighborhood in Castle Rock showcases close proximity to south metro business parks and amenities, and all that the historic Douglas County city has to offer.
